How it all began

Welcome to The Boxz, where we specialize in spreading love and uplifting spirits through our personalized boxes.

When I was a little girl I used to write to my great grandmother, Lillie, as she was the last of my grand parents and lived about 4 hours away, so I didn’t get to see her often. I remember early on her commenting that she was thrilled each time she went to the mailbox in anticipation of receiving a letter from me because she had no one to talk with most of the time and no one bothered to write, call or visit with her. This made me feel special that I could put a smile on her face and make her feel special even though we didn’t get to see one another often.

That feeling carried into adulthood that I could let someone know they were special because I took the time – my time to write a card or letter to them. Thus, The Boxz was born to help encourage and uplift people when they might be feeling down to show someone cares and thought of them to send something catered to them.

Our business was inspired by the founder's personal experience of making her great-grandmother Lillie feel special and loved by writing letters to her even though they couldn't be together often. Lillie was the last of her grandparents and lived far away, so receiving a letter from her great-granddaughter was a rare and cherished treat. This feeling of making someone feel special through a simple act of kindness carried on into adulthood, and The Boxz was born to help encourage and uplift others who may be feeling down.
